Andrew Zerbinopoulos, DMD Dentist
As the dentist at Dental Center of Deerwood, I have the pleasure of working with our excellent staff, as well as the satisfaction of assisting our patients in attaining the healthiest mouth and body they possibly can.
It is important to me that we (doctor, staff, and patient) work together as a team in order to fulfill the goals that we set together. Whether our patients need simple oral health maintenance or more involved treatment to reach a state of health, it is my top priority to work with each individual client to satisfy his or her unique needs and wants. Equally important to me is to achieve our goals while delivering services that are comfortable, low-stress, financially reasonable, and of the highest quality possible.
At our office, we make every attempt to provide a wide variety of dental services, including: cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatments), periodontics (gums and bone), oral surgery (extractions, biopsies), orthodontics (straightening of teeth), and more routine restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges, etc.). We want to minimize the need for patients to be referred to outside health providers, but we will do so when it is in the patient’s best interest.
I am extremely committed to continually broadening my dental education by attending and participating in several advanced courses each year. I stay current with the latest dental technologies, treatments, and scientific research and discoveries. I hold an active membership in the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Northeast Florida District Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
After growing up and attending high school in Fernandina Beach, Florida, I attended college at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama, where I received Bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Spanish. From there, I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry for four years, where I earned the D.M.D. degree. Following dental school, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to participate in a clinical fellowship in general dentistry at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in affiliation with the Cambridge Health Alliance.
I was very pleased to return to North Florida to practice dentistry. After spending a few years in St. Augustine, I have now found my permanent professional home in Jacksonville.
In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities including beach relaxation, hiking, camping, and playing with my dog, Reuben. I look forward to spending the rest of my career in Jacksonville while doing everything I can to provide outstanding dental care to every one of my patients.
